I’m kin with Bowser from the Mario games, and I get really offended and mad when people refer to me with he/him pronouns. I’m not a boy. I’m female, I’m a girl. That’s what I’ve always been. I think I know better than other people what gender I am. Gosh, just let me raise my son in peace!

It is really unclassy and douchey to look down on or be disgusted by fans of a series for following what they consider to be the ‘canon’ of a series. 

If they are misgendering you, as a person, that is not cool, obviously. 

But if its referring to Bowser as a male that bothers you, that’s unrealistic. You can’t impose your own gender identity on other people’s impressions of a well known character.
