Don’t act like being uncomfortable with fictionkin/otherkin and being uncomfortable with factkin is the same thing, though. Like, let’s not forget that factkin shouldn’t be open about their identity FOR A REASON.

Firstly, please don’t take that tone of expression with me.

Secondly, I find it interesting that my message of “lets treat everyone with respect and civility even if they make us uncomfortable” reads to you as “fictionkin are just as bad as those icky factkin!”

Thirdly, yes, factkin shouldn’t be open about their identity for a reason. Which I have posted on extensively. But I’d like to remind you that there are plenty of people outside our community who think that *fictionkin* shouldn’t be open about their identity either, because they believe that we’re harming the author of the characters.
