Most people with kintypes seem to talk exclusively or almost exclusively of visual memories. I barely have visual memories and more something like.. “concepts” in my head. Like i just know somehow has happened in my past life. Are this legit memories or are they just headcanons? Thanks in advance

I think most people talk about visual memories because they are the easiest to talk about. Humans are a very visual species. I don’t think that visual memories are the ones we experience most, just the ones we have the best language to talk about.

I think most kin memories are in the forms of those concepts you describe. Of smells and the memory of a touch. of little compulsions. of ‘that feels *right* to me.’.
