So a non-kin friend of mine recently told me that they think all otherkin are mentally ill for thinking that they are animals. What’s the best way to explain to her that kinity is a belief about your soul/mind and not about physically being an animal? I know you focus on fictionkin but this is a kin thing in general.

Ive seen a lot of antikin start using the agurement of their religion. It’s mostly used against Fickin and someone I used to follow used it as their arguement for being anti-Fickin but not anti-otherkin. But they were very aggressive, stating that “it’s not possible bc my religion says so!!!! You’re not fictional characters!!!!” like that’s literally what they were saying. I wanted to know if this is a new argument or not and how to deal with it bc anons have used it agianst me before.

hiya!! im not sure if you can answer this but is being fictionkin a sin?? christianity-wise?? my religion is just as important to me as being comfortable in my own (s)kin. i just want to know bc im currently going through a period of self discovery and i just wanted to know if can be comfortable with myself and still be accepted(?) and “”pure””(?) as my religion puts it. sorry if you cant answer it but thanks for reading anyway!! :^)))
