I need some help/advice/clarification hehehah
So I just recently got… comfortable I guess with calling myself kin with these characters but like. I’m not sure I’m getting the right definition of fictionkin?
Is it a spiritual belief, believing that’s you in another life, or is it just severely strong resonation/identification (maybe it’s all three/varies between the three?)
Because all I feel is really deep, intense identification, it’s kind of a way to cope with my issues and it makes it easier to express myself.
If what you’re experiencing is a deep identification *with* a character, check out the term ‘fiction hearted’, which is more that.
Fictionkin is believing (in some way) that you ARE the character, literally. Generally this is spiritual/reincarnation, though some people experience it purely mentally as well.
