is it wrong to want to look like my kinself? i want to get contact lenses the same color as my kinself has and dye my hair like hers but i was told that that makes me fake. does it?

Its absolutely not wrong to want to dress or look like your kinself (sometimes or even all the time). Many of us have nostalgia for our former appearances, and if wearing contacts or dying your hair makes you feel more comfortable, there is nothing to be ashamed of. I actually have had my hair dyed blue like my kinself’s a number of times! There is no way wanting to look how you used to look makes you fake.

(What does make someone “fake” is insisting that they are kin directly *because* they look like their ‘kinself’. Your appearance has nothing to do with your status as kin.)
