I had a thought the other day. I noticed a lot of canon calls will say something like “don’t message me if you’re x age” and while I understand that from a safety perspective (minors not feeling comfortable with adults and such) I can’t help but wonder, what if your canonmates were all in that age range you don’t want to interact with and you never got to meet them because of the age difference?

Then you’re basically shit out of luck, I would guess? Sounds sad to me.

oh goodness. I’ve… had a few butterfly wing shifts. Funnily enough, they’re the only wings I could see clearly: yellow, red, and green with black and clear patches kind of like stained glass. Unless that strikes any chords with you (or someone else?) I guess I’ll just have to suck it up and try reading it again.

It doesn’t sound immediately familiar to me, but maybe one of my readers. I think you’ll probably have to trudge through the comic. I recommend…

So, I’m questioning fictionkin, but I don’t know who exactly, nor do I have much interest in consuming the suspected canon (… homestuck..). I’ve recently though, had frequent wing shifts (feathered, two sets, grey-blue in color) and wonder if I were to look a list of winged hs characters might help narrow it down a bit?

Oof, I’m sorry to hear that, anon. I’m going to level with you, you’re probably going to have to suck it up and read Homestuck…

So something has been bothering me for a very long time- I’m hskin, but the thing is I’m 99.9% sure that I’m 3 bloody characters from the same timeline- Dirk, Dave, and Hal. I recognized my kinfeels for Hal first, but Dave was the one I confirmed first, then Dirk about a month later, and I confirmed Hal a couple weeks ago, but it’s bothering the hell out of me. I want to believe that I’m simply mixing myself up, but I have very distinct memories for each and each shift feels very different.(1/2)

(2/2)The thing is, it’s all the same bloody timeline and it’s frustrating. Some memories are the same scene from different points of view, but each…

i’ve read a couple things on your blog but i’m stil la little confused. Im having these images keep flashing before me, and little things replaying in my mind that seem like memories that aren’t exactly my own… they seem like they’re of nepeta leijon from homesuck but i’m not sure if i can call myself kin??? i can like– vividly remember these things from a life i know is not the one i’m living now…

It sounds to me like these visions could definitely be memories of a life as Nepeta Leijon. If thats the case that would make you…

Alright, memory ramble. As I said, they’re pretty sparse, but from my life as Eridan, I do remember the following: I liked to paint every once in a while, although not much, I had a secret shark plushie named Mr. Bitey, I felt better about talking about certain things when I was acting overdramatic and I never REALLY loved Fef. I only thought I did. I could easily elaborate, but I don’t think there’s enough space in an ask for that. I’m already almost out of space as it is.

secret shark plushie sounds adorable.

Hey, so I’m the same anon as from the last ask you answered. Would you mind if I rambled a little bit about the small memories I have of my life as Eridan in your askbox? I haven’t had a chance to make a blog that I feel comfortable posting fickin stuff on and you’re the only person that I’ve been able to talk to so far that is fickin simply because of how nervous I get with people. I have terrible memory and think that maybe getting what I DO remember out to someone might help me remember more.

Please be my guest 🙂 I’m always happy to listen to memories and questions that get sent to me.

So, I’m rather new to fictionkin. Your blog is the only reason I get it to be honest. I messaged you before with this question, but sometimes Tumblr eats my messages so I apologize if this is already in your inbox. Is it possible/normal for someone to be kin with multiple versions of one character? For example, I’m pretty sure I’m Eridan, but I’m pretty sure it’s both a close to cannon version as well as a human version.

Thanks for your message. I’m glad that my blog has been able to help you.  While I would normally say it was very unusual (though…
