Just in case people don’t know this, if you suspect a friend or loved one is otherkin/fictionkin, DO NOT TELL THEM STRAIGHT UP OR SUGGEST KINTYPES. This leads to a massive amount of confusion and un-sorting of “memories” later on that will be irritating to both you and the person involved. Besides, it may end up that they’re not ‘kin after all, and that can cause even bigger problems that I don’t even wanna go into.
If they explore ON THEIR OWN, and come to the conclusion of being ‘kin independently of interference, you can tell them you suspected all along, but be prepared to answer as to why you didn’t tell them at first.
