A thought for questioning fictionkin
I see this a lot with fictionkin just realizing their identities, so I thought I’d give some advice :0
If you think you might be kin of a character because you relate to them a lot, chances are just that- you relate a lot, which isn’t kin. But that’s not nessecarily a bad thing, you could be fiction-hearted, which is also a real and important part of yourself.
But if you feel more than relating to them, such as feeling stronglydeeply for the source material, having vivid dreamsmemoriesshifts, experiencing familaritydeja vu or other unusual emotions and experiences alongside this, whether or not you are kin of them is something you could look into.
Just wanted to get this out there, because a lot of new fictionkin may mistake relating to a character a lot for being a fictotype (including myself), and only realize it a while after their discovery.
As always, good luck on awakening.
