I’m really heavily questioning a fictiotype right now and I’m not sure if I’m feeling homesickness or not, due to the canon being very heavily tied to my own youth. I’m not sure if I’m canon homesick or just homesick for this life’s past? Any advice?

Hmmm, sounds tough. If I were you I would not worry about it too much unless that homesickness is one of the ONLY things that makes you think you’re kin of the person.

If you do want to question it further, look for all the differences between your childhood and the source you can find. Are the differences making you homesick, or are they more in the way of other things?
