Re: gender=/=kintypes, I realize this was directed largely at anti-kin, and so I don’t blame you for not mentioning it, but there are times when your kintypes can affect your gender. Especially if said kintype is a noncorporeal/alien one, or a fictotype with a gender different than yours. Just worth mentioning, no t that Im necessarily suggesting you add it to the post.
There absolutely are times when gender can be influenced by your kinself/kintypes. I would say part of the reason I’m a transman is probably my memories and experiences as a man in my previous life as Ken, as well as a dash of Vriska as the life I experienced as a troll didn’t have the same kind of gender as earth.
The reason I so firmly emphasize that kin=/= gender in posts directed outside of the community is because of the problem where outsiders somehow think that being otherkin is itself a nonbinary gender, like wolfkin are wolfgender, etc.
