Having a body that doesn’t match that of your kinself/kintype is a normal otherkin and fictionkin experience. Its practically a requirement.
It is of the most common of all kin experiences, and one that brings us together.
We’re born in bodies that feel foreign. That have the wrong sex, or too few limbs, or two many. Born the wrong shape, the wrong size, the wrong color. Too hairy, not enough fur, too many fingers, to few toes… We expect to see a different face when we look in the mirror. Someone older, younger, less wrinkled, fatter, less human. We’re born with brains the wrong shape, that think slower, or faster, or in different directions. With eyes on the wrong parts of our heads.
Feeling out of place in our bodies is one of the very primary things that makes us kin, and one of the most uncomfortable.
