Do you have any advice for someone trying to find someone who’s not shown in canon? I know I have a ridiculously tiny chance at finding this person but I’m trying to be positive.

Hey anon. I know the desire to find people can be overwhelming at times, but its important to try not to get too caught up in it, or put too much stake in it.

Tumblr has really over-inflated both the odds of, and the importance of, finding people from your specific canon. Remember that you can have relationships with kin from other canons and worlds that are just as fulfilling as relationships you’ve had in the past.

However, there’s no reason to give up hope, either. Technically there is just as much of a chance of someone being kin of the character you’re looking for as any other character. I would advise you definitely keep an eye out but don’t stake your heart on it.
