haha I’m so embarrassed by the fact that I feel a tiny sting of hurt by certain comments from close friends

“it’s just human nature”
“you deserve it just by being human”
it’s not intense hurt but when it’s said by people who I’m out to, it’s that little, cold sinking feeling that reminds me that people don’t, or can’t, understand
